Paratus Clinical first established its Canberra presence in 2019, building on a long-standing partnership with Ochre Health and growing demand for clinical research opportunities within the local community.

Following continued growth, our Canberra clinic has now expanded into a new location in Deakin, providing a larger, dedicated space to support greater research capacity and an expanding portfolio of clinical trials.

With experience across acute diseases, diagnostics, chronic conditions and vaccine studies, our Canberra team continues to offer the local community access to a diverse range of clinical research opportunities.

Parking

Paratus Clinical is located in the Belconnen district of Canberra, and shares occupancy with the University of Canberra (Building 28, next to soccer fields and across from the new sub-division of Lawson). We provide Participant onsite parking free of charge which is easily accessed.

Public Transport

Dr Leah graduated from the Australia National University and then completed training with ACT Health and the Calvary hospitals, prior to moving into General Practice in Canberra. She has further training in Child Health and Palliative Care.

Dr. Janet Wong

Principal Investigator
Dr Janet Wong graduated from the Flinders University of SA then trained in Royal Darwin Hospital. She has a range of clinical experience in various settings including general practice, rural health settings, and clinical research. She has been involved in clinical trials since 2015, as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in areas of infectious diseases, vaccines, chronic diseases, and therapeutics. Dr Wong’s special interests include women’s health, public health, and health economics.
