Recruitment focus drives better client outcomes

Home > About > Recruitment

We recognise that having a dedicated recruitment team is crucial to reach out beyond the clinic. The team focuses on forming relationships within their local community to ensure an increased awareness of clinical research. Building strong relationships with potential participants is paramount in the success of recruiting to build our database and for specific trials. We achieve this through various activities including but not limited to:

GP and Allied Health meetings

Local community groups

Community events

A focus on recruitment

Paratus sites are serviced by a dedicated participant recruitment team who work with the clinic staff to ensure that all studies are fully recruited. The recruitment team is involved during initial feasibility and works with the operational team throughout the recruitment period of the study. In-house recruiters remove the need to engage heavily with third-party recruitment providers and contributes to lower screen fail rates.

Our Participant Recruitment team:

Pre-screens and identifies suitable participants in preparation for site activation

Aims to have first participant within a week of site activation

Has a specialist based at each site with management oversight

Regularly achieve the top recruiting site in Australia for our studies

Have recruited participants as young as 6 months, and up to 92 years of age
