If eligible, you will take part in the study for approximately 52 weeks, including screening, treatment, and follow-up.
The study involves 13 clinic visits, with regular health assessments throughout the study period. Visits will need to be completed during our clinic business hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Participants will receive weekly study injections of either the investigational medicine or placebo. The investigational medicines will be given subcutaneously or under the skin.
Each clinic visit will last approximately 1-2 hours. During these visits, you may undergo several health assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs checks, ECGs, weight measurements, and blood tests. Some visits will require fasting, meaning you will need to avoid food for up to 8 hours beforehand. For this reason, these appointments will be scheduled in the morning.
