Co-located with Eastbrooke Medical Centre (with 14 practicing GPs) in Main Street, Blacktown, providing strong referral pathways. The clinic is a five-minute walk from the local train station and provides services to a large population within a close catchment area.

Conducting a wide range of research in primary care, the Western Sydney clinic has hosted our most successful vaccine studies in both healthy and patient populations.

Parking

We provide Participant parking which is accessible via Kelso Lane by following signage to the Eastbrooke Medical Centre Parking. Parking is free of charge. Paratus Clinical is accessed from the elevators to the left-hand side as you face the building from the rear. We are located on Level 2. There is additional free parking in Colo Lane within the Blacktown Council car park.

Public Transport

Paratus Clinical is located on the Main Street of Blacktown and is easily reached by public transport with a major bus hub and train station located within easy walk to the clinic.

Dr. Yair Edinburg

Principal Investigator
Dr. Edinburg comes from South Africa where he graduated in 2005 from the University of the Witwatersrand. He has worked in various fields of medicine including Emergency Medicine, General Practice and Aesthetics. After moving to Australia, Dr. Edinburg gained further experience in Emergency Medicine before working as the Lead Physician for a large corporate growing his leadership skills. He has now joined the clinical trials space and been involved in multiple trials in different fields of medicine and stages.

Dr. Ushma Narsai

Principal Investigator
Dr. Narsai graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa) in 2000 and then obtained fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has been involved in clinical trials since 2003 and has been involved in trials involving diabetes, hypertension, and vaccines.

Dr. Fiona Napier-Flood

Principal Investigator
Dr. Napier-Flood graduated from the University of Notre Dame. She completed her hospital training in Westmead, Auburn and Westmead Children's Hospital and has worked in several general practices across Sydney. She also has further training in Children's health. Prior to medicine, she completed a Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Sydney in 1993 and worked in medical research for over 15 years.

Dr. Aaron Wong

Principal Investigator
Dr Aaron Wong graduated from the University of Sydney. He completed his hospital training in St George Hospital. He is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked in several practices across metropolitan Sydney. He has been involved in clinical trials in therapeutic areas including respiratory conditions, metabolic health, vaccines, and infectious diseases. He is also keenly interested in digital health and research participant engagement.

Dr. Noor Glass

Sub-Investigator
Dr Glass graduated from Dubai Medical College (UAE) in 2009, and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Public Health from UNSW in 2012. She completed her medical training in the Sydney South West Local Health District, with experience in gynecology, obstetrics, psychiatry and emergency medicine.
